* A Day to Remember

I could have chosen any photo from my camera roll. This one is just a representative of the many good days I have to remember. Stopping to smell the roses. How many of you have a good foundation to draw from? Do you have any good day to remember? What about those that don’t?

Here’s the challenge: Growth. Building trust. Wearing the full Armour of God.

Pick one person off the street one morning, God inspired. Talk and listen to them. They rarely have a day to remember or someone to share with. We’re going to make that happen.

First a haircut, then a lunch, and finally a thrift store shop. One day with you and a friend. Walk and talk around the city. Where ever the day takes you. Are you this kind of person, who can do this?

Here’s the cool part. We give them a disposable camera and encourage them to take as many photos they want. We develop them and give them to them the next day, as a memory, in a book form.

We post the pictures online for reference to the story. We also will crowd fund for the money it takes. Say about $50 day. Imagine this…giving some one whose almost given up, day after day they walk the streets just surviving. For one day we walk with them, conversation guided by the Lord. Give them one day to reflect on, rest and enjoy. It’s the least we could do. If everyone did this once a week…revolutionary. Even if done once.
